Kaleidoscope

I love kaleidoscopes, they are so cool! I was thinking wouldn’t a web based kaleidoscope kick a$$? The basic idea is that a small java applet would run on top of the browser and simulate the lens (the mouse curser would move it around and clicking on it would twist the “tube”). It would make a great screen saver too. I have looked and no one has done it yet.
